Two hundred years ago, this Welsh holiday cottage was the home of a wealthy landowner. Aelybryn is a beautiful detached holiday home that has been sympathetically restored by the current owner. If you are looking for period luxury in spacious peaceful surroundings, but without compromising on modern comforts - then look no further!  Retaining many original features, this double-fronted house offers a choice of attractive living spaces, including several sitting rooms, a well-equipped kitchen with electric range, a spacious dining room with a flagstone floor, a cellar games room, a cosy reading room and four toilet/shower/bathrooms. Outside there is a large private parking space with a split-level galleon themed decking, complete with canons and a ship’s wheel, as well as a separate decking with hot tub. For the children there is a pirates’ chest of dressing up clothes and their own playground with swings, slide and climbing frames.

Ceredigion Castle

Ideally located on the edge of the small village of Mydroilyn, the house is just a few miles from Ceredigion’s Heritage Coast; 22 miles of rich coastline including dunes at Ynyslas, storm beaches, sheltered sandy bays, high cliffs and coastal paths. The nearby Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron is a must to visit; once being a major trading port in west Wales and where many of the colourful painted houses were once owned by sea captains.
